The Other Border Wall Project
Creative Resistance to Borders
2017 - 2021

The Other Border Wall Project was a multicultural team effort with Tereneh Idia and Leah Patgorski and Jennifer Nagle Myers. During our active years we created a podcast, the traveling group exhibition ‘The Border is a Weapon’ curated by Gil Rocha, and other collaborations with artists and activists connected directly to the US/MX border or indirectly through the diaspora.

We received critical financial support for our efforts from the A. W. Mellon Educational and Charitable Trust Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation, the Social Justice & Arts Grant from the Opportunity Fund, and the PNC Charitable Trust Grant.

This project is archived on our instagram (not active but still present)

The studio includes Tereneh MosleyLeah Patgorski and myself.  We are based in Pittsburgh, PA. This was Phase One of our commitment to remain in dogged step with this administration's attempts to build a wall.
