Breaking News! is an ongoing project that began on my studio walls with a character who was reading the news that I wanted, and needed, to be reading. This is the Breaking News! of the world I want to live in and know so many others do too. While it was important for me to begin this work in the physical world in my studio on chalkboard walls and with sculpture and drawing, it was then just as important to translate them as digital photographs that are easy to distribute and share and print as propaganda for as many people to receive this message of heartwashing over brainwashing.
