New and recent work from my ongoing series, Waterfall Vision, has been selected for the Re:NEW Festival exhibition.  This show includes 21 regional artists working on themes that relate to the festival's concepts of creative reuse, sustainability, and transformation.  This work received the Tess Senay Raynovich Art and Earth Fund Award. Santa Fe Art Institute Residency - Water Rights - February - April 2017

Big News!
Myself and a small group of collaborators were accepted to be resident artists at The Santa Fe Art Institute in 2017 for up to three months.  The residency is unique in that it offers a new theme year, with 2016-2017 focusing on 'Water Rights'.   We will respond to this through site-specific performance, writing, visual artwork, and workshops and collaborations with the community.

The Long Song premieres with The Pittsburgh Festival of New Music: June 26, 2016

The Long Song includes over 21 performers on corners that span more than one mile long.  All the performers are interpreting the lyrics I wrote and gave them in their own style and ways.  The work debuts as part of the Pittbsurgh Festival of New Music and is supported in part by a grant from Awesome Pittsburgh, and is produced in partnership with BOOM Concepts. 

Wild Clarity: Spring and Summer 2016 Production Continues

Wild Clarity, the new body of work being made during the Investing in Professional Artist Residency, is back in production during Spring/Summer 2016.  Final shooting is planned for end of summer, with post-production to begin in Fall 2016.  It has been a great pleasure to work with so many talented and amazing people.  Shown above is myself sandwiched happily between Brennan Maine, production assistant and photographer, and Gia Cacalano, performer., on the right. 

AAP Exhibition at The Carnegie Museum of Art: May 14 - August 15, 2016

Waterfall Vision was selected to be part of the annual AAP Exhibition at The Carnegie Museum of Art.  This show included 60 regional and local artists and spanned all media.  Waterfall Vision received the Jack Buncher Foundation award.

Another show, different work.  This one came about a month or two after Waterfall Vision, but was following similar work made in September 2015.  It all came pretty quickly and represents some of my favorite work I've ever made.
