About: Drawing Sessions are like heaven for me, where I find my most natural movement as an artist. I have a pile of paper or a large canvas, a handful of chalk or a bottle of ink, and time. In the more experimental version I just have water and slate, documenting the fading marks with my camera. With no set plan (on occasion there is some prompt) I allow myself to examine what's just below the surface, waiting to emerge. The forms that repeat and return are the letters and characters in my growing alphabet of 'Feminist Graffiti' to later get translated into public spaces as temporary, site-specific drawings made in chalk and charcoal.
