The Children's Encyclopedia of Characters at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh
Spring 2012 as my F.I.N.E. Artist Residency at the museum / three-day workshop
I made a creative space for children of all ages to come and join me in making an encyclopedia of characters. Each child made one page of the book, creating a character out of their imagination by using collage, paint, glue, glitter, googley-eyes, and drawing. Sixty drawings were made in total, on large thick pages of paper, then bound and exhibited as a book. The book was then scanned and self-published through Lulu press. It can be purchased online here and at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh gift-shop.
